John has written and arranged songs across a wide range of styles, including folk, blues, country and classic rock, as well as some intricate guitar instrumentals. When he plays with Scotty, he often switches between mandolin and guitar.
Scotty Clark is a finger-picking guitarist from Cleveland, Ohio, who plays a spirited blend of blues, R&B, ragtime, swing, and 70's soul. Back in the 80's he played bass in rock bands, and then shifted to a Western Swing group, where he loved singing three part harmonies. Scotty and his wife now split their time between Boston's North Shore and Sarasota.
